About SexAIReviewer
Last updated:
SexAIReviewer reviews adult AI apps: AI sex chat, AI girlfriends and companions, and NSFW image and video generators. We publish in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Every app we score, we pay for with our own card. We use it for at least 30 hours on a paid plan, read its privacy policy, try to delete the account, and check how the charge shows up on a card statement. Then we write down what happened, including the parts the app's marketing leaves out.
Why this site exists
We started SexAIReviewer in 2026 because most "best of" pages we found were written by people who had clearly never opened the apps they ranked. Prices were out of date, features were copied from landing pages, and nobody mentioned the things that actually decide whether an app is worth paying for.
These are the problems we test for, because they are the ones that cost readers money or privacy:
- •Free plans that are not free. A "free" tier that blurs every image or cuts you off after ten messages.
- •Credits on top of the subscription. A monthly plan that still charges extra for each photo, voice message or video.
- •Memory that fails. Companions that forget your name, your story or the scene after a few dozen messages.
- •Filters that change without warning. Content that worked last month and now gets refused.
- •Billing and data. A charge that names the app on your statement, renewals that are hard to cancel, and chats that are kept after you delete your account.
What we have tested so far
We keep these numbers current when we re-test. Each one can be checked on the site.
- •10 apps in our catalog, each scored on the same seven criteria.
- •180+ hours of hands-on testing on paid plans, at least 30 hours per app.
- •13 reviews, rankings and guides, each published in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
- •1 scoring method for every app, published on our how-we-review page with its version history.
- •Every quarter, the apps in our main rankings are tested again.
The team
Three people test and write everything on the site. Each of them has a profile page listing what they cover and every article they have written.
- •Mia Sinclair, lead editor. Runs the chat and roleplay testing, writes the AI sex chat and AI girlfriend rankings, and signs off on every score.
- •Daniel Reyes, image, video and voice. Keeps the prompt sets for media testing and runs them through every generator we cover.
- •Priya Anand, privacy and security. Reads every privacy policy, tests account deletion and checks how each app bills.

Mia Sinclair
Lead Editor & AI Companion Analyst
Mia has reviewed AI companion and adult AI platforms since 2022. She runs the testing at SexAIReviewer, holding the long conversations that show where an app breaks character and reading the privacy policy before she scores it.

Daniel Reyes
Senior Reviewer, AI Image & Video
Daniel handles the image, video and voice side. He runs the same prompt set through every NSFW generator we cover, then compares the output and what the filter refuses. He keeps the test rig identical between apps so the numbers hold.

Priya Anand
Security & Privacy Researcher
Priya audits the apps we list. She reads the privacy policy line by line, checks how long chats are kept and what appears on a bank statement, and looks up past breaches before an app gets a privacy score.
View profile →How we make money
Some links on the site are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, the app may pay us a commission. You pay the same price you would pay going to the app directly.
That money pays for the subscriptions and credits we use up during testing. We do not run banner ads and we do not publish sponsored reviews. The affiliate disclosure page explains which links earn us money and what commissions can and cannot change.
Independence
No app sees a review before it is published, and no app can buy a score or a position in a ranked list. We pay for every plan we test, like any other user.
If an app's team thinks we got something wrong, they can write to us. We check the claim against our own test and correct the article if they are right. We do not change a score because an app asks us to.
What we will not cover
Some apps never make it onto the site, however well they pay:
- •Minors. Apps that allow characters who are, or are presented as, under 18.
- •Real people. Tools built to undress, deepfake or sexualize real, identifiable people without their consent.
- •Non-consent as a selling point. Apps whose marketing is built around abuse of real people.
- •Hidden billing. Apps that hide the price until after you enter a card, or make cancelling impossible. If an app we already cover starts doing this, we say so in the review and lower its score.
One test, three languages
The Spanish and Portuguese versions of the site are not separate reviews. They describe the same test, with the same scores and the same dates. When a re-test changes a score, it changes in all three languages at once.
How to check our work
We would rather you check than take our word for it. Here is how:
- •Read the method. Our how-we-review page lists every step of the test, the seven criteria and their weights, and a changelog.
- •Look at the dates. Every review shows when it was published, when it was last updated and when the app was last tested.
- •Ask for evidence. Receipts, screenshots and session notes for any review are available through our contact page.
- •Compare with the app. If what you see in an app does not match a review, tell us. Apps change, and we would rather fix a review than leave it wrong.

Frequently asked questions
Who owns SexAIReviewer?
The site is owned and run by the company listed under "Who runs the site" on this page. No app we review owns any part of it.
Are your reviews paid for?
No. Apps cannot pay for a review, a score or a ranking position. Some links earn us a commission when you sign up, and that is how the site pays for the subscriptions we test.
Do you use AI to write reviews?
Our writers test the apps and write the reviews. We use AI tools for translation drafts, spelling and article header images, and a person checks everything before it is published. Scores and verdicts are never generated by AI. The editorial policy has the details.
Can I see proof that you tested an app?
Yes. Write to us through the contact page and name the review. We can share receipts, screenshots and session notes from the test. We do not post them publicly because they contain explicit content and account details.
Why should I trust a site that earns commissions?
Because you can check what we say. Our scoring method is public, every review shows when it was last tested, and test evidence is available on request. If something in a review does not match what you see in the app, tell us and we will look again.
