Affiliate disclosure
Last updated:
The short version: some links on SexAIReviewer are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up or buy a plan, the app may pay us a commission. You pay the same price as you would going to the app directly. Commissions never change our scores.
Which links earn us money
Buttons such as "Try" and "Visit site", and app names in our rankings and comparison tables, usually point to affiliate links. In the page code they are marked rel="sponsored". Links to sources, studies and news articles are never paid.
Every review and ranking also carries a short disclosure near the top, before the first affiliate link.
What commissions can and cannot change
Scores and the text of a review come from our test and nothing else. We score with the seven criteria on our how-we-review page, and a higher commission does not add a single point. The order of a ranked list is our editorial pick of the best choice for most readers, based on the same test, so it does not always follow the score exactly.
Some articles also include highlighted partner boxes, for example "Our #1 pick" or "Recommended for this guide". Which partner appears in those boxes is a commercial decision. The ranked list, the scores and the verdict are not.
Apps without an affiliate program
We review apps whether or not they pay commissions. For a few apps without an affiliate program, the button may take you to a partner app we recommend for the same use. The review itself is still about the app named in its title.
Free access and gifts
We buy every plan we test. We do not accept free accounts, extra credits or gifts in exchange for coverage. If that ever changes for a specific review, the review will say so at the top.
Why we use affiliate links
Testing costs money. Each review means paid subscriptions, credit packs that run out, and weeks of work. Affiliate commissions pay for that, so the site can stay free to read with no banner ads and no sponsored reviews.
The rules we follow
We write our disclosures to meet the US FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), the UK CAP Code, EU consumer protection rules and Brazil's CONAR guidelines: they are shown in the reader's language, near the links, in plain words. If you think a disclosure on our site is unclear, tell us through the contact page.
Frequently asked questions
Do I pay more if I use your link?
No. The price is the same as going to the app directly. The commission comes out of the app's marketing budget, not your plan.
Does clicking an affiliate link track me?
The app learns that you came from our site, usually through a referral code in the link. We do not send your name or email address. The privacy policy explains what happens when you click through.
Can I visit an app without an affiliate link?
Yes. Type the app's address into your browser instead of clicking our link. Our review is the same either way.
